In English generally the last Sunday of
the month at 2:00 P.M.
Preparation:
Arrangements are to be made in advance at the
rectory by one of the parents, at which time the childs birth certificate should be
presented. Class for parents and
godparents at 7:30 P.M. the Tuesday before the Baptism.
Los Bautismos: En espanol generalmente el primer sabado del mes a las
2:00 de la tarde. La clase de preparacion para padres y padrinos el viernes antes del
Bautismo a las 8:15 P.M. Por lo menos uno de los padres debe hacer los arreglos antemano
en la rectoria, Favor de traer el certificado del nacimiento.

| CONFIRMATION |
When:
Confirmation is celebrated every year and
a program of instruction is incorporated into the school curriculum for children in our
parish school.
Preparation:
Special classes of instruction are
conducted for children in public schools according to the schedule for religious education
classesAdults who have not been confirmed should call the rectory regarding
special classes for adults or participation in the RCIA.

| MATRIMONY: |
Preparation:
Initial visit with the parish
priest must be made by the couple at least six months prior to the preferred wedding date.
This time is required by diocesan policy for all weddings to make certain that due
preparation is made by the couples and that all canonical requirements are properly met.Los Matrimonios: La pareja debe hacer la primera visita con el sacerdote a lo
menos seis meses antes de la fecha deseada. Este tiempo esta requirido por las reglas de
la diocesis de Brooklyn para todos los matrimonios para asegurar la debida preparacion de

| ANOINTING OF THE SICK: |
When:
Anointing of the sick may be requested by anyone within our
parish area who has a serious illness or is about to undergo serious surgery.
According to circumstances this can be done at home (for shut-ins) or in the church for
those who are ambulatory at an agreed upon time.
Communal anointing of the sick is celebrated during Lent. |
